The Harvard Graduate School of Design will present a lecture by Inaki Echeverria, an architect and urbanist based in Mexico City, who will discuss the future of megacities, cities in China and across the world that will eventually have a population of more than 20 million. In addition, Echeverria will discuss the status of current cities in relation to possible future ones, focusing on a city’s relationship with the environment and water, with special attention paid to the role of design in better integrating buildings into their natural environment.
