Pete Howard, Building Automation, Technology, and Data Manager
Pete manages the integrated building systems and applications of the Center's headquarters HouseZero. In addition, he manages the physical day-to-day building operations and other building-related projects. Pete supports the CGBC's core research team and their efforts, including managing building data. He brings 28 years of experience from working with Siemens on building technologies, project management, technical support, application engineering, system design and architecture. Pete has a BS in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Bob Marino, Assistant Director for Finance
Bob provides direct financial and administrative support for all budgetary, financial and grant-related processes and projects at the Center. Prior to his work at the CGBC, Bob worked as a financial analyst at two cleantech startups where he secured federal funding and conducted award administration and compliance for multi-year, multimillion dollar R&D projects. Bob has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Boston University Questrom School of Business and a BA in History from Boston College.

Aubrey Ashmun, Communications Manager
Aubrey leads the Center’s communication efforts, overseeing all written content, digital and print media, marketing initiatives, and public relations. She is dedicated to increasing awareness of the Center’s research and fostering meaningful engagement with diverse audiences. Aubrey’s experience spans strategic content creation, brand development, and storytelling in the real estate, non-profit, and fashion sectors. She is excited to bring her experience and passion for environmental sustainability to support the CGBC’s mission. Aubrey has a BA in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
