Ying Liu publishes an article analyzing pedestrian flow by describing diffusion behavior

CGBC Postdoctoral Fellow Ying Liu’s recent article about evaluating unidirectional pedestrian flow by describing diffusion behavior was published in the new edition of Mathematical Problems in Engineering, a “peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes results of rigorous engineering research carried out using mathematical tools.” Liu, along with her co-authors Cheng Sun and Yiming Bie, builds a macroscopic model for describing crowd diffusion behavior and evaluating unidirectional pedestrian flow. Zheming Tong publishes article on air quality and urban rooftop vegetable farms
