CGBC Postdoctoral Fellow Zheming Tong’s recent article about air quality above an urban rooftop vegetable farm was published in a new edition of Environmental Pollution, “an international journal that seeks to publish papers that report results from original, novel research that addresses significant environmental pollution issues and problems and contribute new knowledge to science.” Tong, along with co-authors Thomas H. Whitlow, Andrew Landers and Benjamin Flanders, investigated the effect of elevation and rooftop configuration on local air quality at the Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm during a short-term observational campaign.
