Harvard GSD: Richard Rogers delivers second annual Harvard CGBC Lecture

Oct. 18, 2016 -- Architect Richard Rogers delivered the HCGBC Annual Lecture at Piper Auditorium, Gund Hall, 48 Quincy Street, Cambridge, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. Richard Rogers and his wife, the chef and restaurateur Ruth Rogers, are the 2016–17 Senior Loeb Scholars at Harvard GSD. The 2016 Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities Annual Lecture aims to expose a large audience of students, faculty and members of the public to the importance of green design and planning.

The Harvard Graduate School of Design published an account of the CGBC Annual Lecture featuring Richard Rogers on October 18, 2016, an event that continues the Center’s annual tradition of honoring a key leader within the green design and planning movement. Rogers focused his talk on approaching sustainability through the relationships and interactions between buildings and inhabitants.
