Jungmin (Ellie) Han, CGBC Fellow

Jung Min Han is a Center for Green Buildings and Cities Fellow. Her research interest lies in energy-efficient building design and its underlying theories from diverse disciplines such as architecture, building physics and computer science. She navigates interoperable building simulation software for architects to use in creating flexibilities between building performance analysis and early design decision-making. Her doctoral research focused on tool development for environmental analysis and building performance simulation. She uses statistical inference as her primary methodology for advancing the feasibility of software with manifold sets of building data. Jung Min holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Korea National University of Arts, a Master of Science in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master in Design Studies with a concentration in Energy and Environments from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, as well as a Doctorate of Design degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
