Inequalities/Equalities in Cities Workshop at the Harvard Safra Center for Ethics

On Friday, April 15, Harvard’s Safra Center for Ethics will present the “Inequalities/Equalities in Cities Workshop,” featuring Clarissa Hayward, an Associate Professor of Political Science at Washington University in Saint Louis; Archon Fung an Academic Dean and Ford Foundation Professor of Democracy and Citizenship at Harvard Kennedy School; and Laurence Ralph, the John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University. This one-day workshop on structural inequalities & equalities in cities will have a non-traditional form, encouraging a rich set of conversations to bring together normative, social scientific, and policy perspectives. The goal will be expansive conversation that opens up new possibilities for re-orienting policy paradigms particularly as they apply to urban contexts.
