On November 7th at 2:00PM at the Science Center “Hall C”, One Oxford Street, Cambridge, the Harvard Brain Science Initiative, the Harvard Art Museums and the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, will present a discussion about the importance of light in both daily life and built environments, as well as its impact on overall well-being. Dragana Rogulja, Assistant Professor in Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School, and Holly W. Samuelson, Assistant Professor of Architecture at Harvard Graduate School of Design will focus on how building design can respond to occupants’ biological and psychological need for daylight while balancing issues of glare, thermal comfort, and energy saving.
