The CGBC will hold bi-weekly Research and Innovation Talks to provide a forum for collaboration within the Center, and so that select guests can learn more about current projects.

Matan Mayer, Post Doctoral Fellow at the CGBC, will discuss three projects which examine and speculate on the role of design in minimizing waste output in the built environment. Each project investigates this issue through a different scale and lifecycle lens, with topics ranging from the environmental cost of structural performance in construction materials, through low embodied energy envelope assemblies, to developing fast and intuitive end-of-life disassembly mechanisms.
