Zheng’s research focuses on the impact of air pollution and air filtration on building occupants’ health, productivity and thermal comfort. His recent interests include estimating the impact of adoption of green inputs in production for exports on air quality, and testing the impact of information disclosure on households’ self-protective behaviors in response to pollution events. He is also conducting a field experiment in China to study the impact of air purifier on students’ grades in school and on worker’s productivity in factories. Zheng received a B.A. in Economics from Fudan University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
