Southeast Asia Explores Sustainable Development Conference

On Tuesday, October 27 from 9:00am to 5:30pm, the Harvard University Asia Center and the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia will host an environmentally focused conference about South Asia, “Southeast Asia Explores Sustainable Development: Coping with Socioeconomic Difficulties, Big Power Rivalry, and Climate Change” at K262, Bowie-Vernon Room, Second Level, CGIS Knafel, 1737 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA. The conference will feature top thinkers and analysts such as Daniel Schrag, Hongtu Chen, Rema Hanna, Michael Herzfeld, Arthur Kleinman, Dwight Perkins, Anthony Saich, and Mary Steedly from Harvard University, Jeffrey Sachs from Columbia University, along with many international scholars.
