Urbanization with Chinese Characteristics: National Patterns in International Perspective

On November 4, Nicholas Eberstadt, the Henry Wendt Scholar in Political Economy at American Enterprise Institute, will discuss the history and development of Chinese urbanization, cities and their governance. This lecture, entitled “Urbanization with Chinese Characteristics: China’s National Patterns in International Perspective,” is a part of the Critical Issues Confronting China Seminar Series and is co-sponsored by the Harvard University Asia Center and the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies. The lecture will take place from 12:30 – 1:50 p.m. at S020, Belfer Case Study Room, Japan Friends of Harvard Concourse, CGIS South, 1730 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA.
