GSD Lecture: Politics of Democracy in the City of Tomorrow

On Wednesday, February 24, the Harvard Graduate School of Design will present a MDes History and Philosophy of Design Lecture, entitled “The Politics of Democracy in the City of Tomorrow” by Dr. Adnan Morshed, PhD, Associate Professor at the School of Architecture and Planning at The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. Morshed will be discussing themes from his new book Impossible Heights: Skyscrapers, Flight, and the Master Builder, describing the symbiotic relationship of technology and utopianism in American society and urban culture.
