CGBC Research & Innovation Talks: “Thermal Comfort, Health, Adaption in the Built Environment”

UnknownThe CGBC will hold bi-weekly Research and Innovation Talks to provide a forum for collaboration within the Center, and so that select guests can learn more about current projects. This week, Bin Cao, PostDoctoral Fellow at the CGBC, will demonstrate the idea that variation of thermal condition is good for building occupants comfort and health by giving evidence from both climate chamber studies and field surveys. He will also share a case study in China featuring a typical mixed-mode running building with climatic adaptive design to demonstrate the feasibility of creating a comfortable thermal environment that uses less energy.
