The Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities will present a series of Research & Innovation Talks. Given by members of the CGBC Research Team, talks will highlight and discuss projects underway at the Center.
On May 3rd, Xuan Zhang will present on: “Distributed Temperature Control via HVAC Systems in Energy Efficient Buildings.”
10:00 am – 11:00am
20 Sumner Road, Room 1D
Refreshments will be provided.
Talks are open to members of the Harvard community. Space is limited. Please RSVP to Jeff Fitton (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Xuan Zhang, Post Doctoral Fellow »
Xuan’s primary research focuses on the control and economic optimization for smart power networks, with applications in frequency and voltage regulation, demand response, congestion management, energy market modeling and smart building technology. He is also affiliated with the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Xuan received his Ph.D. in Control Engineering from the University of Oxford, UK, in 2015, where he conducted research on distributed control for large-scale network systems, and nonlinear dynamical systems analysis based on Lyapunov techniques. In 2011, he received his B.Eng. degree in Automatic Control from Tsinghua University.
